How do participants join a session?

Share the 6-digit join code or QR code displayed on your facilitator screen. Participants go to lincah.prerana.id/join and enter the code — no account or app required.

How long is session data kept?

Session data — including participant responses and uploaded files — is automatically and permanently deleted 72 hours after a session is closed. Export your results before then.

Can participants join anonymously?

Yes. When creating a session, enable the Anonymous mode toggle. Participants will join without entering a display name.

What export formats are supported?

You can export session results as CSV (for spreadsheets and Jira imports) or PDF (for reports and sharing).

How to use Planning Poker?

Create a session and select the Planning Poker tool. Choose your estimation scale (e.g., Fibonacci). Invite your team, discuss the user story, and have everyone select a card. Once everyone has voted, reveal the cards to discuss any differences.

Can I change the estimation scale during a session?

Currently, the estimation scale must be set when creating the Planning Poker session. If you need a different scale, please start a new session.

How to run a Retrospective?

Select the Retro Board tool and pick a template (e.g., Mad/Sad/Glad). Participants add their notes anonymously. Group similar notes together, then give everyone votes to prioritize which topics to discuss and create action items for.

Are participant notes completely anonymous?

Yes, by default notes added to the Retro Board do not show the author's name to encourage open and honest feedback.

How to use MoSCoW Voting?

Add the items or features you need to prioritize. Participants drag each item into Must Have, Should Have, Could Have, or Won't Have categories. Lincah aggregates the results to show the most common categorization for each item.

How to run Budget Allocation?

Define the items to be funded and set a total budget per participant (e.g., 100 points or $100). Participants distribute their budget across the items based on what they value most. The tool tallies the total allocated to each item.

How does Pairwise Comparison work?

List the items to prioritize. Lincah presents them in head-to-head pairs to participants. They simply choose the more important one in each pair. The tool calculates an overall ranked list based on all the head-to-head results.

How to use Story Breakdown?

Start with a large epic or user story. Participants collaboratively propose smaller, actionable tasks or stories that make up the larger item, helping the team understand the scope and technical details.

How to run Crazy 8s?

Crazy 8s is a fast sketching exercise. Set a timer (usually 8 minutes) for participants to sketch 8 distinct ideas. Participants can upload photos of their sketches to the board for the team to review and vote on.
